DOG FRIENDLY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay, where your furry companions are more than welcome to join in on the holiday fun! Below, you’ll find our furry friendly important Terms & Conditions for traveling pooches:

We understand that your four-legged friends are cherished members of your family, and we’re delighted to offer them the chance to holiday with you. By confirming your booking, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions:

• We happily accommodate 2 small dogs under 15kg or 1 medium/large dog over 15kgs, pending pet approval at the discretion of the owners/managers.
• Guests who bring dogs on site that aren’t approved prior to arrival, may be asked to remove them from the property.
• A $300.00 bond is required and will be refunded within 2 days of departure provided there are no damages.
• Dogs are not permitted inside the Hibiscus house and failure to adhere to this may result in the forfeiture of the bond to cover additional cleaning costs.
•  Dogs are welcome around the dedicated fenced yard of Hibiscus House and the undercover deck space. You are free to walk your dog in the surrounding gardens, permitted they are on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted in communal areas such as the playground, fire pit, tennis court, or animal feed zones, beyond the carpark fence line.
• Guests are accountable for any damages caused by their dogs, with costs deducted from the bond. Should damages exceed the bond, authorization is automatically granted to charge the excess to the credit card on file.
• Damages include but are not limited to; urination on furniture or walls, chewing and scratching of furniture or infrastructure, or any other actions necessitating additional cleaning, repairs, or replacements.      
• Clandulla Cottages is home to a variety of animals, including our own dogs, cat, sheep, cows, horses, peacocks, and native wildlife. For the safety of all creatures, if your dog displays aggression toward animals, please take the necessary steps to ensure they do not injure any animals or themselves. If they cannot be restrained or controlled, you may be asked to remove them from the property for everyone’s safety.
• While the Hibiscus House is fenced, we cannot guarantee it’s 100% secure and dog-proof for every single breed.
• Guests unequivocally bear full responsibility for their dog’s behavior and actions, including any resulting costs such as veterinary care for injured farm animals.
• By bringing your dog to Clandulla Cottages, you release and absolve owners, staff, and representatives of any liability for injuries or illnesses to your dog, as well as any harm caused by your dog to other animals, people, or children.
• All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick treatment due to our grassland setting.
• Remember to pack your dog’s essentials, including food, bedding, toys and litter bags.
• Please dispose of litter bags in the garbage bins provided.
• All fence gates must remain closed when not in use to ensure your dog does not wander.
• While we’re thrilled to be a pet-friendly destination, we’re not a dog-sitting service. Please ensure your dog is not left unattended for prolonged periods, which could distress them and other guests.
